REAL BODIES at Bally’s is, without a doubt, the most exciting exhibition to hit Las Vegas in recent memory. Filled with provocative and enriching experiences, this attraction puts guests face-to-face with the very things that makes us... us. By cleverly and respectfully displaying real, preserved human bodies, anchored by context, history and thought-provoking informational material, Real Bodies translates to a raw connection to humanity that guests will undoubtedly feel. This connection is one that reaches out to our very nature and how we view human life and death.
REAL BODIES at Bally’s invites guests to experience their carefully presented and thoughtfully organized vignettes, separated into several galleries representing a different body system. Guests can take an incredible in-depth look into our respiratory, circulatory, digestive and reproductive systems, along with how our muscles, brain, and other systems function, plus much more.
The exhibition also juxtaposes the superficial with a deeper look into the human experience. Elements such as cultural significance, as it applies to the biology, and subjects such as disease, and even that which lies beyond life itself, are represented. These ideas frame a story of human life from our first breath to our last, and how everything in between actually works. Does the average person understand hunger? Why we feel the sensations we do? Or how it works? Do we know how different cultures have approached these concepts? The answer is likely ‘no’, and REAL BODIES at Bally’s does an excellent job of sharpening the focus cohesively through a combination of both science and artistry.
At REAL BODIES at Bally’s, the beauty of life, along with its various pathologies and mysteries, can all be pondered with a new admiration. Take our word for it: REAL BODIES at Bally’s will assuredly reignite our appreciation for the human experience. The exhibition is open daily at 10 a.m. Tickets are $15 (children) and $24.95 (GA), plus tax and fees.
