Channing Tatum, the actor whose life is portrayed, to some degree, in the movie Magic Mike (and the follow-up, Magic Mike XXL), is the perfect person to direct a theatrical endeavor of the same name. Why? Well, after all, it’s his life. But beyond this fact, Tatum is known for his great talent, his magnetism, and a genuinely sweet personality, which he has successfully transferred to the identity of his show, MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS now showing at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS has the steamy fun and tantalizing allure of the films, but the touch of Tatum that seems to give it personality, drawing guests in to the entertaining story and steamy atmosphere. The tale takes viewers back through a specific period in his life, having spent time as a male stripper (certainly not a ubiquitous road for a Hollywood celebrity, but an interesting road nonetheless). In this hilarious and sometimes dramatic experience, Tatum learns the fine arts of wooing women, making money, and having fun.

Women everywhere were clamoring for more Magic Mike following the success of the films, and Tatum heard the call. He was even able to secure Alison Faulk, choreographer for the movies, to join the group and also choreograph the live show. Faulk also serves as co-director. Teresa Espinosa, Associate Director from the films, has also joined in for the live version. Fans can rest assured that the nuance of the films will be present in the live production as well.

At Hard Rock, months of hard work went into creating the mythic Club Domina as a unique cabaret nightclub space inside the resort. The previous set had to be completely redesigned to capture the magnetism of the movie version of Club Domina from the Magic Mike franchise.

The state-of-the-art venue is designed with the capabilities to house a show that features thirteen of the hottest and most talented men in the country performing in front of, behind, above and all around the audience. Based on competitive theaters around Las Vegas, this one is certainly unique in its scope, and perfect for delivering the experience – “a 360-degree dance and acrobatic strip tease spectacular”.
