Frank Marino looks as stunning today as he did when he first began his humbling journey of fame and success in Las Vegas (and beyond) 30 years ago. No, that’s not a typo – this is Frank Marino’s 30th year performing on the Las Vegas Strip. To that we say, ‘Long live the Queen!’, for Marino is truly the undisputed Queen of the Strip.
Frank Marino’s show has officially survived five presidents, three wars, and the turn of a century as of Saturday, Sept. 19. Marino is the first entertainer to reach this absolutely incredible milestone in Las Vegas history.
“I can’t believe it’s been 30 years – it doesn’t show, does it? For 30 years, it has felt like I’ve lived on a permanent vacation,” said the international entertainment icon. “It’s not a job performing, it’s a pleasure being able to perform.”
Frank and his cast of talented female impersonators take the stage nightly at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. The show features an all-star cast of female impersonators who recreate some of music and entertainment’s biggest superstars, ranging from Lady Gaga to Cher, Diana Ross to Beyoncé, and even Madonna and Britney Spears. And of course, as the show’s emcee and star, Marino brings an international whirlwind of couture to the stage with each spectacular entrance.
With the recent updates made to The LINQ Theater, the hotel has now completed its full resort renovation. The Theater now features seating at different heights and styles, including barstools, bucket style chairs and club couch style booths, giving every guest not only a great view of the stage, but a unique and more fashionable theater-going experience.
In addition, The LINQ Hotel & Casino recently welcomed a “Divas Las Vegas”-themed gaming pit, featuring six custom blackjack tables of him and the brilliant cast of Divas Las Vegas. This marks yet another first for Marino, the superstar female impersonator who can add to his long list of accomplishments, including two stars on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame, a key to the city, and a street named after him. Marino’s new book entitled “Drags to Riches” is set to hit bookshelves at the end of September. In honor of his 30th anniversary, Marino has also created a Commemorative Frank Marino doll, named the “Frankie” Doll, which has hundreds of different costumes, just like the Diva himself.
Divas Las Vegas, which appeals to men and women of all ages, is the perfect formula for success in Las Vegas. Unafraid to change with the times, Frank Marino has stayed at the forefront of Las Vegas entertainment, providing repeat audiences with a soundtrack to their life, believing that every night should be a big party, for 30 years. Cheers to you, Frank and the team at SPI Entertainment.
